TACOMA Shipyard launches fifth Navy Tug Boat

At 18:15 hours Sept 29, 2011 the fifth Navy Tug Boat built by J. M. Martinac Shipbuilding Corp. was launched into the water.  Bound for Navy service in Japan, YT-806 is one of six new Navy Z-Drive Yard Tugs with two Caterpillar 1800 hp engines providing up to 40 tons of pull. The tug is now undergoing its final outfitting at the facilities of J. M. Martinac Shipbuilding Corp. in Tacoma, Washington.  Video was shot from the top of the deckhouse looking forward.
